What is Chaplaincy? And who is a Chaplain?
Chaplaincy is an act of Pastorial care and
counseling with a Mission to respond with love and compassion to people's needs in their
wholistic existence.
Chaplaincy is international, non denominational and non governmental,
para military corps.
Chaplains Fellowship Of Nigeria is nationwide.
It identifies with other international Chaplaincy bodies
expecially, the Police, Navy, Air Force, and Army.
Chaplains are recognized ordained Ministers and genuine Christians equipped by deep experience
and competence to offer suppreme sacrifice, Pastorial care and counseling.
Chaplain is a true Soldier of God, identified by her Navy uniform (white signifying purity or holiness)
with godly disposition as a true Soldier of Jesus Christ.
Our weapon is not carnal but strong through Christ Jesus in pulling down of strong holds (2nd Corinthians
10:4)
When there is war we pray for peace.
We impact on humanity through fervent prayers, moralization management technique, instilling discipline,
introducing high starndard of conduct, ethical values, respect for ethnic, cultuer, gender, racial and religious diversity.
A chaplain is needed in all works of life; in Churches, Mosques, Schools, Institutions, Hospitals,
Prisons, Markets, Communities, Government and private sectors, Orphanage homes etc.
